“This tour exceeded our expectations!” 5 Stars
This tour exceeded our expectations! We thought it was just 3 hours of visiting a few restaurants and food sampling, but it was so much more! The time flew by as we strolled along at an easy clip listening to all the local historic and future plans for the area. The interaction among the diversified guests also added to the experience – locals, from other states, even other countries. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Huntsville!-- “Fun and informational!”
“What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday!” 5 Stars
What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday! Our guide did an excellent job you could tell she loves this city and all that it has to offer. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. The food was very tasty, the houses and surrounding area are beautiful to look at, and you get to hear some interesting history about downtown Huntsville. Needless to say but, I had a great time. Thanks to those who invited me to tag along.-- "I would highly recommend this tour to anyone."
“Definitely a ‘must do‘ if you live or are visiting the Huntsville area.” 5 Stars
This “date” exceeded our expectations. We discovered great new restaurants and found out we can have Sunday brunch at some of these tasty places instead of the usual chains we frequent after church. We learned so much Huntsville history from our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Heather. We would certainly recommend this to both foodies and history buffs. Definitely a “must do” if you live or are visiting the Huntsville area. And husbands…impress your wives with a tour as a Christmas present! I can almost certainly assure kudos for thinking of this yourself!-- "Downtown Dish Delightful!"
“Is it possible to give someone more than five stars? Because this business certainly deserves it!” 5 Stars
Is it possible to give someone more than five stars? Because this business certainly deserves it!
Our guide Heather was friendly, charming, and entertaining with her wonderful stories of Huntsville history. We suggested that she should pitch her tour to the History Channel, because she certainly has the presence and demeanor of a television hostess.
And then there’s the food……wow. Samplings from Below the Radar, Kaffeeklatsch, Pane e Vino, Harrison Brothers, The Office, and Sam & Gregs were out of this world. We are lucky to have world-class restaurants in downtown Huntsville, along with an incredible history, and we’re grateful we have The Downtown Dish to spread the word.
